Very domestic day, making bread, ironing and washing whilst Hannah went for her pony riding lesson!
Also making a chicken and vegetable pie ;-)
Bread turned out OK but not as big as I’d have liked. Mental note to just use one tin next time and 500g flour. This time was 650g and 2 tins.

At work
At work today. Sat in an office in Cambridge.
Nice sunny day outside.
Was hectic earlier as there have been break-ins at Croydon and Sydenham overnight and we now have to move spare cards to Croydon.

First entry
First ‘Official’ entry now that I seemed to have settled on a layout ;-)
Well, after the Doctor gave me a lifestyle warning the other week I’m starting to adapt to a low cholesterol/low salt diet. I’m now consiously looking for suitable food when shopping. Not just seeing something and just bunging it in the trolley. I now look at the fat/salt content.
The hard thing to pass up is going to be decent tasting cheese. There are some ‘low fat’ soft cheeses I can look at but I need something with taste. Cottage cheese looks like sick - it’ll be a long time before I’ll try that.
Sausages will have to be carefully investigated
Early days yet - we’ll have to wait and see how this pans out.
